Our full-service team routinely provides planning, design, and construction phase services for a wide range of projects from the Carolinas to New York State, and the Dakotas. Project types include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, business and industrial parks, institutional facilities, residential communities, recreational facilities, mining and land reclamation, and golf courses. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects to local, state, and federal government agencies.

GTA was established in 1985. Services provided by GTA include environmental consultation, geotechnical engineering, subsurface exploration, geo-sciences, and construction observation and testing services. GTA presently employs over 190 engineers, scientists, and technicians in Abingdon, Laurel, Frederick, and Waldorf, Maryland; New Castle and Georgetown, Delaware; Quakertown, York, and northern Pennsylvania; Somerset, New Jersey; Sterling, Virginia; northern West Virginia; eastern Ohio; Williston, North Dakota; and Charlotte, North Carolina (GTA Associates, Inc.).
