Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are affiliated professional architectural, engineering, and planning firms. Our full-service team routinely provides planning, design, and construction phase services for a wide range of projects from the Carolinas to New York State, and the Dakotas. Project types include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, business and industrial parks, institutional facilities, residential communities, recreational facilities, mining and land reclamation, and golf courses. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects to local, state, and federal government agencies.

MRA has been in business since 1979. Services provided by MRA include land planning, architectural, site/civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying. MRA has more than 110 professional and support personnel working from offices in Abingdon, Towson, and Laurel, Maryland; New Castle and Georgetown, Delaware; Sterling, Virginia; and Williston, North Dakota.

GTA was established in 1985. Services provided by GTA include environmental consultation, geotechnical engineering, subsurface exploration, geo-sciences, and construction observation and testing services. GTA presently employs over 190 engineers, scientists, and technicians in Abingdon, Laurel, Frederick, and Waldorf, Maryland; New Castle and Georgetown, Delaware; Quakertown, York, and northern Pennsylvania; Somerset, New Jersey; Sterling, Virginia; northern West Virginia; eastern Ohio; Williston, North Dakota; and Charlotte, North Carolina (GTA Associates, Inc.).
