MRA is providing structural engineering and surveying, and GTA is providing geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and construction observation and testing services for a new luxury high-rise hotel and condominium complex located directly adjacent to the harbor waterfront. The new structure will feature two towers: a 45-story hotel/condominium tower and a 26-story office tower. The facility will include a 300-car below grade parking level, which will require a 24-hour dewatering system due to the close proximity to the waterfront. The structure is being designed utilizing both conventional reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete structural systems.
